The interdepartmental competition raised the energy level to unprecedented levels and created an exciting atmosphere! Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Biotechnology, and Management Technology & Information Science are among the departments that deserve special recognition for their contributions to an unforgettable showdown. Teams displayed their projects and posters, emphasising talent, teamwork, and perseverance.

A special thanks to evaluators Dr. Munaf Rashid, Dr. Saad Jawaid Khan, Dr. Yousuf Irfan, & Dr. Saifullah, whose insightful assessments added an extra edge to the event. The dedication and hard work displayed by every department were truly commendable

The Department of MT&IS hosted an informative session for Morning BBA and M&T Evening students. The session was moderated by Mr. Abu Bakar, founder of ‘The Psych Shield,’ in collaboration with Sukoon-e-Qalb, and focused on Anger Management among Business Management students and its impact on health and curricular activities. Students actively engaged in the discussion, and the exchange of thoughts contributed to a meaningful and enriching experience. It was a successful and enlightening session for everyone involved.

The MT&IS Department hosted an inspiring session on November 20, 2023, with Mr. Noman Siddiqui, HR Specialist from Transworld Associates. The ‘Crafting Mastery Session’ delved into resume crafting, job search navigation, and interview excellence. Students studying Morning BBA, Evening Management Technology, and MT&IS all benefited greatly from this educational programme!

At Ziauddin University, we value academic excellence. The brilliance of our students always shines brightly in enlightening sessions and informational activities. In a recent milestone, Semester VIII BBA students showcased their expertise in the ‘Pre-Thesis Defense Evaluation’ session by the Department of Management Technology & Information Science. It was an engaging session with esteemed faculty, including HOD Dr. Saif Ullah and dedicated professors Dr. Nazia Keerio, Miss Sania Zafar, Syed Ghazanfar Ali, and Syed Rashid Ali.

Ziauddin University, Faculty of Engineering, Science, Technology, & Management (ZUFESTM) hosted an engaging seminar on “Sequential Exploratory Mixed Method Design for Scale Development.” Dr. Mustaq Ahmed, a distinguished scholar with a Ph.D. from SZABIST Karachi, shared insights into Sustainability Studies. His session covered a wealth of information on HR, organisational Performance, and many other insightful topics that would help the students in the real world. 

Empowering the next generation of researchers! The Department of MT&IS at ZUFESTM’s North Campus hosted an enriching session with Mr. Dr. Noman Mahmood, Deputy Director and QEC Coordinator at MITE University. Ph.D. students delved into the world of ‘Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) on SmartPLS and AMOS.’ Knowledge, innovation, and insights were shared, paving the way for future excellence in handling data by using research tools and software.

The Department of MT&IS at ZUFESTM’s North Campus conducted an insightful workshop. Dr. Farhan, Assistant Professor from the Department of Economics & Management Sciences at NED University, made it very informative with his strong knowledge and learnings from experiences. The focus was on ‘AI-Powered Systematic Literature Review (SLR) & Bibliometric Review Analysis.’ Our PhD students gained valuable experience in literature writing through cutting-edge AI-based technology. Knowledge knows no bounds!
