BS (BUSINESS ANALYTICS)
SCOPE AND OPPORTUNITIES
The BS (Business Analytics) program is planned for individuals who want to develop analytical skills by mixing business theory, data analytics skills, practical knowledge, and professional skills in preparation for careers as business leaders. The BS Business Analytics is a dynamic degree program aimed to provide strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to students who wish to explore the power of data analysis to facilitate decision-making processes in organizations and solve business problems. The program prepares the next generation of managers with the expertise to manage and analyse data to solve organizations’ pressing challenges in management, HRM, finance, operations, and marketing.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
PEO1: To produce graduates with expertise to manage and analyse data for solving the challenges faced by the organization in management, HRM, finance, operations, and marketing to develop managerial qualities.
PEO2: To produce graduates who can creatively and critically analyse and evaluate problems quantitatively, and use information technology to solve business issues.
PEO3: To produce graduates who understand social and ethical issues concerning the business community.
PEO4: To produce graduates with strong decision-making skills for creating and managing innovations, new business development, and identifying high-growth potential entity
PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
ZUFESTM BS (Business Analytics) program prepares students to attain the educational objectives by ensuring that students demonstrate achievement of the following learning outcomes:
PLO1: Business Management & Data Analysis Knowledge: Applying knowledge of data Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Human Resources fundamentals to solve complex business situations.
PLO2: Problem Analysis: An ability to identify, formulate, synthesize, analyze complex business data, and reach substantial conclusions using business management principles.
PLO3: Communication: Ability to communicate effectively orally as well as in writing on complex business activities with the business community as well as with the society at large, such as being able to comprehend and write effective reports, design documentation, make effective presentations and deliver and receive clear instructions.
PLO4: Ethics: Ability to identify and resolve ethical and social problems that arise in the business environment.
PLO5: Best Practices: An ability to apply theoretical applications of business administration in the functional areas of business.
PLO6: Lifelong Learning: The ability to recognize the importance of and pursue lifelong learning in the broader context of innovation and technological developments.

LENGTH OF DEGREE PROGRAM
BS (Business Analytics) (Minimum): 4 years
BS (Business Analytics) (Maximum): 7 years
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Intermediate or equivalent.
- Candidates who have completed 12 years of education and obtained degrees other than Matriculation (SSC) and Intermediate (HSC) are required to obtain an equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC).

CREDIT HOUR DISTRIBUTION OF THE COURSES
The Department of Management Technology & Information Science follows HEC guidelines for distributing credit hours between core courses and general education courses. Any changes to the curriculum are only made after a thorough deliberation in the Board of Studies (BOS) meetings, which external experts also attend. The program comprises 132 credit hours.
