Introduction
Ziauddin University is a well-known Chartered University. Ziauddin University is now offering Master of Business Administration (MBA) at both North Nazimabad and Clifton Campuses. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is one of the professional programs that is planned for individuals who want to mix business theory, practical knowledge and professional skills in preparation for careers as business leaders. The curriculum used is integrated with experiential learning by applying the newest management tools and techniques. Case studies and project work are among the pedagogies used for delivery of the curriculum content. Students have a choice to do a Research Thesis or undertake a Capstone Project, a real-life project in their specialized area with a related company. MBA has several paths available to help professionals advance their careers.
For students with a 4-year business degree / 16-years of education
- Average duration of the MBA program is 1.5 years.
- Ten courses (30 credits) that may have option of Capstone project/Research Thesis (6 credits)
- The maximum duration to complete this degree is 4 years.
For students with a non-business undergraduate degree of 4 years/ 16-years of education,
- Average duration of the MBA program is 2 to 2.5 years.
- Twenty courses (60 credits) that may have option of Capstone project/Research Thesis (6 credits)
- The maximum duration to complete this degree is 4 years.
For students with an undergraduate degree of 2 years/ 14-years of education,
- Average duration of the MBA program is 3.5 years (BBA bridge program of 2 years +1.5 years)
- Thirty-five courses of 105 credits (75 credits for BBA bridge + 30 credits) that may have option of Capstone project/Research Thesis (6 credits)
- The maximum duration to complete this degree is 8 years.
AVERAGE LENGTH OF DEGREE PROGRAM
MBA (for 16 years Business education graduates): 1.5 years
MBA (for 16 years Non-Business education graduates): 2 to 2.5 years

CREDIT HOUR DISTRIBUTION OF THE COURSES
The Department of Management Technology & Information Science follows NBEAC/HEC guidelines for distribution of credit hours between core and elective courses. Any changes to the curriculum are only made after a thorough deliberation in the board of studies (BOS) meetings, which is also attend by external experts. The program comprises of 30 credit hours for MBA 1.5 Years and 60 Credit Hours for MBA 2 Years.
