April 24, 2024: “Course Presentation- Computer Science & Software Engineering Department”. Dr. Munaf conducted a presentation for 1st-semester students, who showcased their skills effectively. Dr. Munaf and the Department continually strive to motivate students because presenting themselves well is crucial for future success in engineering. The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering emphasizes this aspect.  

August 25, 2023: “FYP Workshop 2023 – Computer Science & Software Engineering Department” organized by the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering was held at Ziauddin University North Campus for the students of BSSE and BSDS program of Batch 2020.

The FYP Workshop commenced with an insightful opening address by our esteemed Head of Department, Engr. Dr. Sheikh Muhammad Munaf, who emphasized the importance of innovative thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration in the field of computer science and software engineering. Furthermore, to share the industry experience Engr. Rehan Adil were invited as guest speaker, providing insights into current industry trends and offering invaluable career advice to our students. After that Dr. Syed Muhammad Atif, Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, ZUFESTM, discussed the norms and practice that will be followed by the department throughout Final Year Project. The workshop ended with the long QNA session.

The FYP Workshop undoubtedly achieved its objectives of fostering a collaborative learning environment, encouraging innovation, and preparing our students for successful careers in the ever-evolving landscape of computer science and software engineering.

The Department of MT&IS, BBA Semester 6 students at Ziauddin University hosted an amazing activity, Chill & Thrill Winter Bash, on November 14, 2023. This activity was part of a Services Marketing course for BBA final-year students.  Students from different Batches of BBA also participated as Volunteers. This activity provided a hands-on experience of managing different events for their future professional life.  At the end of the event, all volunteers and organizers, along with faculty, gathered to celebrate the successful event. 

ALHAMDULILLAH, Our final year students of Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering in the Department of Computer Science & Software Engineering at ZUFESTM showcased the conference paper at the International Conference of Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology (ICAIET) in Multan on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, earned the distinction of being the third-best paper in the conference.
